APPLICATION:
- BITUMEN VG-10 finds primary application in spraying tasks such as surface dressing and paving, particularly in extremely cold climates, as an alternative to the 80/100 penetration bitumen grade. Additionally, it is utilized in the production of Bitumen Emulsion and Modified Bitumen products.
- BITUMEN VG-30 is specifically employed in the construction of heavy-duty Bitumen pavements designed to withstand substantial traffic loads. It can be substituted for the 60/70 penetration bitumen grade.
- BITUMEN VG-40 is preferred in areas subject to high stress, such as intersections, toll booths, and truck parking lots, instead of the 30/40 penetration grade. Due to its higher viscosity, it enables the production of stiffer Bitumen mixes to enhance resistance to shoving and other issues associated with elevated temperatures and heavy traffic loads.
